主要聚焦于病毒与宿主互作机制的研究。以肠道病毒、黄病毒、疱疹病毒等为研究对象,深入探究病毒与宿主天然免疫的相互作用,剖析病毒RNA的复制及致病机制。同时,开展新型抗病毒药物的应用基础研究,在哺乳动物RNAi 介导的抗病毒免疫研究等方面成果颇丰,为病毒学研究及相关疾病防治提供理论与技术支撑。
