主要从事抗微生物耐药与治疗方面的基础与应用基础研究,研究对象包括多耐药细菌、新突发病毒等,旨在为病原微生物的防治提供新的抗感染药物和通用疫苗。在新型抗菌分子研发方向,以超级耐药细菌群为靶标,在噬菌体治疗等方面开展了系列研究,发展了多个在动物感染模型上具有较好治疗效果的新型裂解酶。近年来的研究兴趣还包括噬菌体-细菌-细胞交互、噬菌体编辑、噬菌体载体疫苗等研究方向。
